Meet Chris Gallant
I’ve built a career on public service — I was deployed multiple times to Kuwait and have flown several missions overseas, protected our airspace as an FAA air traffic controller, stood up for my coworkers as a union leader and work as a volunteer firefighter in my community. Right now, Congress doesn’t operate with the same discipline or focus. So I’m stepping forward to serve the place I was born and raised with the same clarity of purpose I’ve brought to every role I’ve held, and to deliver results that move our communities forward.

My priorities come from real conversations with Long Islanders who are trying to stay afloat, take care of their families, and plan for the future. These aren’t empty promises — they’re commitments to finding real solutions for our district
Affordability for Long Island Families
Living on Long Island has become too expensive. I’ll fight for smart federal investments that reduce the cost of housing, energy, and basic goods.
Health Care for Seniors
Medicare and Medicaid are lifelines for older adults. I’ll protect these programs and push for improvements that expand access and lower out-of-pocket costs.
Infrastructure and Coastal Resilience
Long Island’s shoreline communities face real risks, from aging infrastructure to rising seas. In Congress, I’ll push for long-term investments to strengthen, defend, and rebuild our coastline.
Government that Works for Everyone
Accountability has been the foundation of my career. I believe Congress should function the same way: clear goals, real action, and measurable outcomes.
Keeping Long Island Safe
As a first responder, I’ve seen firsthand what safety really means. I’ll fight to ensure our first responders have the tools they need to protect our neighborhoods and keep our streets secure.
